Meet Eos, our beautiful round candle holder for tealights. Eos is named after the Greek goddess of dawn – she who let the first light of day shine upon the world every morning.
The candlestick is made of recycled oak wood from 4-500 years old, fantastically old oak used for timber framing in a fallen barn at Gyldensten Gods near Bogense on North Funen, and it creates peace and warmth with its natural, Nordic and timeless expression. The wood is incredibly beautiful and well-preserved and has grown under, among others, the Danish king Christian the Fourth. Try to imagine what stories the tree can tell...
Eos is handcrafted with the beautiful, vibrant grain structure of oak, making each candleholder unique. The solid wooden base provides stability and weight, while the soft surface treatment of oil and wax highlights the warm glow of the oak.
Eos adds a calm atmosphere to the room and fits perfectly into modern, minimalist and Scandinavian decor.
