The care and maintenance oil (mix) from Rubio Monocoat refreshes the colour and renews the surface of your table, making it look beautiful again and keeping it looking great for many years. The oil also improves resistance to liquids and daily wear and tear.

How to oil your table:

  1. Preparation - Remove all dust and dirt. Clean with a well-wrung cloth and let it dry completely.
  2. Mix and apply - Mix 3 parts Universal Maintenance Oil with 1 part Oil Plus 2C (the same colour as the original finish). Stir thoroughly. Apply a small amount of the mixture with, for example, a brush. Work in small sections and spread evenly in the direction of the wood grain. After a few minutes, massage the oil into the surface with a sponge.
  3. Remove excess and let dry - Let the oil sit for 10 minutes before wiping off the excess oil with a cloth or paper towel. The surface should look even and feel dry to the touch. You cannot wipe off too much. Remember to place cloths, paper towels or sponges in a bag with water after use, as they can otherwise spontaneously combust.

With this product, you get both a care oil and a coloured oil, which can be mixed. The care oil can also be used without mixing it with a coloured oil to refresh the table if the colour of the tabletop looks fine.
